Here are some pics of the front door and the kitchen. I painted both a few months ago.
The kitchen used to have really dark brown cupboards and goldish-bronze hardware. I also painted the back splash a light khaki green. The door used to be a medium brown color. The kitchen has really lightened up, and I still love the front door! This is for you, Hannah!

Short posting, but another one to keep the blog rolling. Now I'm off to decorate my house for my favorite season (other than the Christmas season)...FALL!!

Wow Molly, that looks AMAZING!! Did you paint the insides too, or just the outsides of the cabinets? Also, did you take the doors off?
LOVE the door, too! Amazing color.. I don't think I would have been gutsy enough to go with a color that bold but I LOVE it!

THANKS! We took all the doors off, but only painted the outside...
I love the blue, too! Now the house doesn't look like all of the other ones in the neighborhood as much...Plus it brings out the color of the flag!
