Fondue Night

The other night when Kyle was at an interview I decided to surprise him and make some chocolate fondue. I ran to Maceys and bought everything I needed, along with one extra bar of chocolate. I mixed the chocolate and milk to melt over the heat, and started cutting up the fruits and other food. Unfortunately I forgot about the now-burned chocolate until it started to really smell...Good thing I got an extra bar of chocolate!

The other night a group of friends gathered at Emma's house to have a party. Ben and Brandon Jorgensen were there, cousins Nate and Elza, and a few other friends. We had a good time talking, eating food, and playing "Never Trust a Pirate", which is always fun - especially wathcing John squirm and take 5 minutes to decide his next move.

Quotes

I have been cleaning out my desk and boxes in my room and have found pages of my favorite quotes that I have written down in the past. I read some of them and don't understand why I ever liked them. And some I still love. I probably have about 200 written down, so I've decided I'm going to start sharing a "Quote of the Day" or maybe even "Quote of the Week", depending on if I get into the habit of writing every day...we'll see!

My first quote is by Abraham Lincoln. I saw this saying once at Deseret Book and I could never find it again. Thankfully mom pays attention when she gets her Deseret Book magazine, and she knew I was looking for this particular quote for quite some time. Thanks mom!
